Kia ora “Greetings”

As your wedding co-coordinators Darren and Michelle Brown,
we come from a proud line of tribal affiliations which are
Ngati Kahungungu, Rongowhakaata, Ngapuhi and Ngai  Tai, ancestry.
Having lived in Rotorua for 43 years and married for 19 years,
it gives us great pleasure to share with you a unique balance of Maori tradition
combined with modern day wedding trends,
cultural values that derive from a proud and noble race known as Te Maori.
Our traditional Maori Wedding Ceremonies are performed with
the blessing of a Maori Tohunga (Priest) and our ancestry tracing back to the sacred
Takitimu Canoe, that migrated here to New Zealand between (AD 1000-1300).
New Zealand Traditional Maori Weddings offers wedding couples
a truly unique opportunity to experience the Polynesian Maori
on a more personal and spiritual level.
Our sacred locations and romantic themes have been carefully chosen creating
an atmosphere of excitement and romance.
Here in the city of Rotorua, you will discover the seeds of love that
were planted many generations ago, by two of our famous ancestors,
Princess Hinemoa and Tutanekai, the Greatest Love Story in Maori History.

Kia horo te marino
Kia whakapapa pounamu te moana
Kia tere te karohirohi
Mo ake tonu ake

May the seas be calm
May the shimmer of summer
Glisten like the greenstone
Dance across your pathway
Now and forever more
